The Abbots Mead Hotel is a family-run grade 2 Georgian townhouse, situated in the heart of Shrewsbury town centre. The hotel offers 16 en suite rooms, a relaxing bar and lounge area, private car parking.
Situated close to the River Severn within a stones throw from some great restaurants which this delightful market town has to offer. With us, you will enjoy the accommodation only found in a privately family-run hotel of this class. All our visitors are made welcome by the hosts: Barry, Eileen and Andrew Bailey. We now have Free Wireless broadband Internet connection throughout the hotel.

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Our Restaurant is only open for evening meals for parties of 10 or more (advance bookings only). Private meetings and conferences can be catered for.
By Car:
- Follow signs for Shrewsbury town centre.
- Proceed over English Bridge and take the 2nd turning on the left (a very sharp left turn) into St. Julians.
- The hotel is on the left.
By Public Transport:
The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from train and bus stations.
